Grief Support Services
With over 50 years experience, Mattiske Funerals understands that the loss of a loved one is not an easy thing to process. Everybody deals with grief in slightly different ways, and it is always a good idea to seek help if you are having any trouble. Here we have compiled some of the available resources that might be able to help you.
Talk to your doctor
Talking to your regular doctor is a great way to keep an eye on your mental wellbeing and they can provide you with further information on professional services if needed.
Advice from SA Health
There is a range of resources and information available on the SA Health website. If you are unsure of where to start, then this is a useful place to look.
MyGrief App
the MyGrief App is a free application that can be downloaded for you iPhone or Android phone. The app has been developed by the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement and offers strategies for dealing with grief.
Griefline
Grieflline has telephone counsellors available 365 days a year and access to 24/7 tools, wellbeing practices and coping strategies.
It is important to remember that you are not alone, and remember you can always speak to your GP if you are not sure where to start.
