Transferring the deceased
At Mattiske Funerals, we can arrange the transfer of the deceased—whether from home or a care facility—to one of our funeral home locations.

Importantly, in order for us to transfer the deceased, the death must first be certified by a qualified doctor.
We can also arrange transfers from hospital, but please note that such transfers will be actioned during office hours and usually with one to two days of the date of death.
Repatriation services
If the deceased is interstate or overseas and needs to be repatriated to South Australia, we can also handle these arrangements for you.
Similarly, we can also arrange the reverse—that is, for the deceased to be repatriated from South Australia to another state or even overseas.
